The Volkswagen ID.5 closely resembles the ID.4, with the primary distinction being that the ID.5 features a coupe design, while the ID.4 adopts a more traditional SUV silhouette. It is powered by Volkswagen’s new APP550 drive unit, which was first introduced with the ID.7. This new unit provides considerably more power while also reducing energy consumption. It delivers 286 PS (210 kW) and boasts an impressive torque increase of 75 percent, rising from 310 Nm to 545 Nm
Thanks to improved efficiency, the ID.5 can now achieve a combined WLTP range of up to 339 miles.
