BMW Group aims to have around a dozen fully electric models on roads worldwide by 2023. Initially championed by the all-electric i3 hatchback BMW. Over eight years after BMW's first mass-market electric vehicle, their second has arrived in the form of its popular X3 SUV model the iX3, but quickly followed by two key innovative models, namely the iX and the i4, with fully electric versions of the highly popular 5 Series, 7 Series and the X1 to follow in the years to come.
