The Lease Electric team are lacing up their running shoes for the Cheltenham Half Marathon this September, raising vital funds for its 2026 Charity of the Year, 4ED.
Richard Markey, Lee Bowtell, Josh Wakeman and Chloe Bushell will take on the 13.1-mile challenge in support of the Gloucester Rugby Foundation 4Ed, which provides practical and financial assistance to people living with Motor Neurone Disease and their families.
4ED was established following former Gloucester and Leicester rugby player Ed Slater’s MND diagnosis. Supporting the charity holds particular significance for Lease Electric, whose team are proud Gloucester Rugby supporters and have a personal connection to the impact of the condition.
Managing Director Richard Markey said: “Supporting 4ED means a great deal to us. We’re proud to take on the Cheltenham Half Marathon and raise funds to help people living with MND and their families.”
The race forms part of Lease Electric’s year-long commitment to 4ED, which also includes volunteering at fundraising events and raising awareness of MND.
Supporters can cheer on the team this September or donate through Lease Electric’s JustGiving page.
