Lease Electric has released the official recap video from Go Electric Gloucestershire 2026, reflecting on what proved to be the company's largest electric vehicle showcase to date and highlighting the growing demand for electric vehicles among businesses and drivers across Gloucestershire.
Held at the University of Gloucestershire Business School in partnership with C2S Growth Consultancy, the event welcomed employers, fleet decision-makers, employees and members of the public for a day dedicated to electric vehicle education, independent advice and hands-on vehicle comparison.
The day began with a sold-out Business Breakfast, where attendees heard from the Lease Electric team on the practicalities of fleet electrification, EV Salary Sacrifice and supporting organisations through the transition to electric vehicles.
Guests were also joined by Tosh Crompton, Corporate Sales Manager at Volvo Cars UK, who shared insight into Volvo's expanding electric vehicle range, the brand's continued commitment to safety and innovation, and how new technologies are shaping the future of sustainable mobility. His presentation gave businesses a valuable manufacturer perspective on the opportunities and challenges surrounding EV adoption.
Following the Business Breakfast, the event opened to visitors for the Go Electric Gloucestershire EV Showcase, where more than 50 electric vehicles from 24 manufacturers were displayed, giving attendees the opportunity to compare vehicles side-by-side and speak with independent advisers about Business Contract Hire, Personal Contract Hire and EV Salary Sacrifice.
Volvo also provided exclusive test drives of the EX30, EX40 and ES90, allowing visitors to experience the latest generation of electric vehicles first-hand.
Richard Markey, Managing Director of Lease Electric, said:
"It's fantastic to see Go Electric Gloucestershire grow in only its second year. Our aim is simply to give businesses and individuals the opportunity to explore electric vehicles, ask questions and make informed decisions with confidence.
I'd like to thank our manufacturer and dealer partners, the University of Gloucestershire, C2S Growth Consultancy and Tosh Crompton from Volvo Cars UK for their support in making the event possible. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended we look forward to welcoming you back next year."
The newly released event recap video captures the atmosphere of the day, from the Business Breakfast and networking sessions to the extensive vehicle displays, expert conversations and Volvo test drives. It offers a snapshot of how businesses across Gloucestershire are engaging with the transition to electric vehicles and the opportunities available through leasing and EV Salary Sacrifice.
Planning is already underway for Go Electric Gloucestershire 2027, with Lease Electric continuing its commitment to supporting businesses and individuals as the adoption of electric vehicles accelerates across the Gloucestershire and the South West.
